NEW - Interactive Music Trivia

The Larryoke experience has expanded. In addition to singing, dancing, music videos and my “sparkling personality,” we now have interactive music trivia. Quizzes are five minutes, with many categories to choose from. You sign up with a separate QR Code from karaoke, and participation is a no brainer. Answers are color coded, and you’ll see color blocks on your phone, as depicted in the image below. Everyone who answers correctly gets points, but you get more points for answering quickly.

There are three rounds with four questions each: single, double and triple score. You may have the lead after the first round, but things change significantly with point magnifiers. I’ve been doing this for about six weeks now, and I can definitely say quizzes are very much action packed, filled with cheering and screams. I do them every thirty minutes or so, during the rotation breaks to change the vibe, followed by a one-song dance break (unless the quiz is in the middle of the rotation) to get the juice pumping for another round of karaoke.

You gotta experience it. Currently, I do Larryoke on Tuesdays at New Way (9pm) in Ferndale, and Sundays at Pronto! Royal Oak (11pm, following another show at 8pm). Hope to see you quizzing soon!
